Getting up and running

Today, I will try to setup my new freeflux account. So far the interface does not seem so easy to use but there are some nice features (ex: automatic live url rewriting). Unfortunately, the WYSIWYG html editor is not compatible with neither Camino nor Safari, my two browsers of choice. So I am writing this in Firefox. The WYSIWYG editor does not degrade so you cannot post content via Safari or Camino. There might be preference to set somewhere ? I need to investigate further. Will report later on...

nice picture ;)

Anyway, the blog wysieyg editor doesn't degrade right now, will hopefully be able to do that some time. I'll check in Camino, why it doesn't work. It will definitively not work in safari for the time being.

And sorry for the too wide google ad, we will find a way to choose a shorter one ;)

Hi again

Ok, we make now "tall" google ads available, if you want. Just add

<div id="googleAd" class="tall"/>

in your xslt, wherever you would like to have it (somewhere in the left navigation maybe). Edit master.xsl then. You can then also remove the <div id="googleAd"/> in blog.xsl (But you can't remove all googleAds ;) )

Hope that helps, and concerning the editor, we will fix that soon.

Thanks for your help and prompt support :) It's really a great service you provide.

Good morning ;)

The Blog Editor works now also on Safari and Camino. Actually it should work on any browser, since it uses just a textarea for post editing, if it's not Mozilla/Firefox

Camino seems to be a special case, since the 0.8.4 release doesn't have Midas integrated (which kupu uses). But the latest Camino nightlies have it. I did add an appropriate check.

If you have any suggestions for a better interface for "non-mozilla" browsers, just say it.

Indeed, it now works with Camino (I use the nightly builds). It's really cool, thanks a lot :)
