Growl

growliconGrowl is a global notification system for Mac OS X. Any application can send a notification to Growl, which will display an attractive message on your screen. Growl currently works with a growing number of applications.

Today, I released a new version of my Net_Growl package, a php implementation of the Growl network messages. Messages are sent over the network via UDP. Net_Growl works with version 0.7 of Growl.

I use Net_Growl to display notifications sent by Event_Dispatcher, PEAR Errors and other debug information.
